The 2014 Perry Lakes Hawks Junior Basketball Season is not far away.
Pre-season starts the weekend of Saturday 15 March. The first 2 weeks will involve 1 x 2hr skills session for teams/coaches up to and including U14 and a 3on3 competition for U16 and up. This will be followed by 3 weeks of grading fixtures for all competition age groups.
The season proper commences on Friday and Saturday, 2, 3 May.
The number of CBBC teams in the 2014 competition will be capped at a maximum of 75. This means there is unlikely to be any new whole teams. (See note re Yr 2 students below).
Existing (2013) CBBC players can register on-line from Saturday, 1 February. An email has been sent to you with instructions. Don't delay as failure to register and pay by 9th February may see you waitlisted. Go to "2014 Registration" on menu bar.
New players cannot register on-line but instead must email CBBC Registrar, Kylie, at Registrar@CityBeachBasketball.org to be placed on a waiting list for a vacancy in an appropriate team. Information provided must include name, date of birth, address, school, playing experience, training day (Mon-Fri) availability and phone/email contact details.
Year 2 students wishing to play miniball please note that there will be no Saturday competition for this age group in 2014. Instead there will be a Tuesday session offered which will include a skills session and mini-game. Email your details to Kylie as above or for further information please email info@CityBeachBasketball.org.
